About The Alhambra Walls And Towers Walking Tour:
This guided walk takes in the sights and attractions surrounding the walls and towers of the Alhambra. It follows a scenic route through the woods of the Alhambra towards the Justice Gate (Puerta de la Justicia) and the Pilar de Carlos V. Passing through this defensive gate, you'll arrive at the Wine Gate (Puerta del Vino) and the Square of the Cisterns (Placeta de los Aljibes).
It's then onto the Palace of Charles V, which today houses the Alhambra Museum with its unique collection of Hispano-Muslim and Nasrid Art.
From the palace you'll continue walking up Calle Real before eventually arriving at the church of Santa María de la Alhambra: built atop of the former main Mosque. The Arab Baths are the only preserved part of this historic building.
The tour's last proper sightseeing location is the Hotel Parador de Granada, an enchanting 15th century building that once served as a Catholic convent. Finally, you'll stroll down the Cuesta de los Chinos, a historic cobblestone path leading towards Paseo de los Tristes.
