About The Big City Bike Tour:
Don't explore Amsterdam by the seat of your pants, explore it on the seat beneath your pants! Pedal power is the most authentic and exhilarating way of getting around the Dutch capital. On this extended tour a local cyclist will show you the city’s canals, museums, attractions and other famous sights.
Every bike is professionally maintained and comfortable to ride. Also available as a shorter 2-hour excursion, this extended version of Yellow Bike's Amsterdam city tour lasts 3 hours. It departs every day at 13:30 from the Yellow Bike Office on Nieuwezijds Kolk 29. Safety features such as the bell and lights are demonstrated before the group sets out.

On the 3-hour 'Big City' bike tour of Amsterdam you'll explore essential landmarks with a friendly, English-speaking guide. This knowledgeable local is also fluent in Spanish and can provide multi-lingual commentary if required.
The journey gets underway outside the Yellow Bike Office on Nieuwezijds Kolk. Here you'll be introduced to your guide and fellow cyclists. After a brief overview of the bikes and their safety features (bells and lights) the tour itself will get underway. Note that the bikes are also equipped with a frontal storage rack, so anything you're unwilling to carry on your person can be placed here.
Across the 3 hours you can expect to see the Westerkerk, the Anne Frank House, and other areas of the city normally inaccessible to large vehicles. One particular highlight that combines astounding architecture with natural scenery is the Museumplein, where participants will cycle past the iconic Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk and more.
The mid-point of the tour is marked by a short break amongst the trees and lakes of Vondelpark. The Red Light District is also an area you'll explore on the Big City Bike Tour.
