Tour Details:
The Athens by Night tour starts with a visit to the port city of Piraeus. Travelling by luxury mini-coach you'll pass key landmarks such as Marina Zea. Marina Zea is one of the Mediterranean's busiest yacht marinas and is home to numerous luxury pleasure vessels belonging to Greece's wealthy jet-set community. Also featured is Mikrolimano harbour, another swanky yacht and fishing boat harbour, site of the former Royal Yacht Club and many waterfront seafood restaurants.
After passing Piraeus Municipal Theatre you'll ride back into central Athens for an overview of the capital's main attractions. See the Temple of Zeus, the New and Old Parliament Buildings, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and much more all lit up after dark. The sightseeing potion of the tour finishes in the ancient residential neighbourhood of Plaka.
After a short walk through the historic streets your guide will take you to a local taverna, where you'll be treated to dinner with live bouzouki music and Greek folk dances.
