About The Crumlin Road Gaol Tour:
Dating back to 1845, Crumlin Road Gaol finally closed its doors to prisoners in 1996. After extensive renovations it re-opened as a leading tourist attraction in 2013.
During this 75-minute guided tour you will hear stories about some of the prison's most notable inmates and about the political segregation between Republican and Loyalist prisoners.
You'll also see the tunnel which connects the Gaol to Crumlin Road Courthouse, be able to sit in the governors chair, experience a condemned man's cell and witness the chilling execution room where it is said 17 men were hanged!
