Note: Gellért Bath tickets are valid for one entry only, so you should not attempt to exit through the entrance turnstiles before deciding to leave. Also, unless you choose to bring your own towels, please arrive at the baths with a rental deposit of at least 2,000 Hungarian Forints. Deposits are paid back upon producing a proof of receipt (provided during renting).

- Please print out the ticket voucher you receive from this site and present it to staff at Gellért Bath's Hungaria Koncert Welcome Desk. Your voucher will be sent immediately via email upon purchase.
- The Welcome Desk is open daily, 09:00-18:00. Tickets are valid until 22:00 on your chosen date.
About The Gellért Baths:
Constructed between 1912-18 and positioned atop one of Budapest's largest mineral water springs, the Gellért Baths were the height of balneological opulence during their time. Modelled like a true Art Nouveau palace it stands to this day as the principle thermal bath house in the capital's Buda district, Pest being similarly served by Széchenyi.
Gellért's reputation as a medicinal spa has been known and cherished for hundreds of years. During the 12th century the Knights of St John erected a hospital on the Gellért hill site and supplied its pools using the ancient underground springs. During Ottoman rule the Turks similarly sought out the hot water's health-giving properties. It's thanks to this rich endowment that the complex we know and love today was constructed during the early 20th century in the prevailing Vienna Secession (Art Nouveau) style of the time.
Despite huge lapses in maintenance after World War Two, Gellért returned to its original splendour following a complete restoration in 2008. The palatial entrance hall now bathes in the coloured light of a vaulted stained-glass ceiling, the indoor pools resemble scenes from Greek myth, and the outdoor areas are surrounded by lush greenery.
The temperature of the waters range from 26°C outside to a balmy 36-40°C inside. There's also a number of chilly plunge pools to compliment the Sauna/Steam Room services. Book entry tickets before you travel and enjoy skip-the-line access, plus there's even a range of invigorating massage treatments.

• Aromatherapy Massage (20 Mins) + Entry:
Unwind in your own private cabin with its soothing oriental ambience and cushioned massage table. This treatment incorporates oils that enhance the effect of the masseurs' hand, providing an extra level of relaxation and revitalisation. Feel your stresses melt away across the duration of the session then depart for a swim in the bathhouse pools.
• Thermal Massage (20 Mins) + Entry:
This Swedish style massage is mainly employed in the treatment of locomotive issues and disorders. Feeling a bit stiff and achy? The masseur's skilled hands will target problem areas and tailor the session to your specific needs. It's ideally followed up with a gentle swim in one of Gellert's indoor pools.
• Royal Thermal Massage (50 or 70 Min VIP) + Entry:
This robust massage is based on Swedish techniques, and is a full body treatment, not focusing on any specific piece of anatomy. It provides general tension relief from tip to toe. The deluxe 70 minute version with cleansing facial and foot massage is optional should you be looking to enjoy a longer session.
