About The Irish Rock 'N' Roll Museum:

Located within Dublin's Temple Lane Studios, The Irish Rock 'N' Roll Museum is a living, interactive journey through Ireland's modern musical history. Along with your passionate resident guide, you'll go behind the scenes of one of Ireland's largest recording studios, where artists like Van Morrison, The Script, and Sinead O'Conner have all spent time recording. Here you'll find photos and memorabilia of some of the world's largest artists, from U2 and Michael Jackson to the iconic guitarist, Phil Lynott.

As the tour progresses you'll experience each stage of the creative process from composing and rehearsing to recording and performing. Whether you know your way around an instrument or not, the studio's rehearsal rooms feature a collection of guitars, basses, drums, amps and even themed costumes that you're welcome to pick up and have a jam with.

Next you'll be given exclusive access to the backstage area of the Button Factory, a working live music venue which has previously hosted the likes of AC/DC, David Bowie and U2. Your guide will share stories of crazy goings-on in the green room and point out some famous faces on the backstage wall of fame. As a bonus (should there be no on-going preparations for an actual gig) you and your group will be led onto the Button Factory main stage to bask in the views of a true rock star.

Finally, step into the recording rooms for a glimpse of Temple Lane's state-of-the-art facilities. Here you'll be offered a chance at recording your own demo track, complete with a costume and instrument of your choosing!
