About The Keukenhof & Bulb Farm Tour:
Behind the dunes that run from Haarlem to Leiden a vast rainbow canvas stretches as far as the eye can see. Collectively known as the 'Bollenstreek', (bulb region) this radiant section of the Netherlands has been at the heart of Holland's flower industry for hundreds of years. See the millions of daffodils, hyacinths and tulips for yourself this Spring on a half-day trip to the famous Keukenhof Gardens.
Starting on Damrak street in central Amsterdam you'll be shown aboard a luxury coach and greeted by a professional, English-speaking tour guide.
Instead of heading straight to the annual flower exhibition, however, the group will first visit a working bulb farm. Here you'll receive first-hand insights into modern growing techniques, as well as a colourful history of Dutch flower cultivation.
The tour continues with a trip to Keukenhof's dazzling flower show, where the aforementioned bulbs are displayed in a wonderful parkland filled with exhibitions and sculptures. Once here you're welcome to explore at your own free will, just remember to be back in time for the return journey to Amsterdam.
