About Liverpool's Radio City Tower:
St Johns Beacon, to give it it's official name is the home to local award winning commercial radio station Radio City. Whilst it being a fully working media outlet, the tower is also open to the public as a viewing gallery and offers stunning 360 degree panoramic views of Liverpool and beyond, over 40 miles away on the clearest of days.
There are no time slots allocated for entry to the tower. All persons whether pre-paid or not can arrive at a time to suit their choosing and their is no time limit on your stay, though if your planning an itinerary for your day then we would recommend allocating approximately 30 minutes for your visit.
Whilst we are a viewing platform and not a guided tour as such, there are indeed guides in the gallery who are very knowledgeable about Liverpool and it's history and are more happy to answer any questions. All visitors also receive a free, full colour panoramic souvenir booklet which pinpoints some of the famous attractions here in Merseyside.
