About The Holiday Lights & Movie Sites Tour:
If you plan on spending the Christmas season in New York City then consider using some of that time to discover the lights and sights of the Big Apple's most iconic filming locations. The Holiday Lights & Movie Sites tour is guided by a local New York actor or actress who can provide professional insights into each production as well as share some entertaining anecdotes about their own experiences in the film industry.
This tour is ideal for individuals, families or groups of friends who want to explore the landmarks and districts that characterise their favourite festive classics. Travel to the famous tree at the Rockefeller Centre where Macaulay Culkin reunites with his mum in Home Alone 2. See the apartment where Buddy the Elf (Will Ferrell) stays with his dad during his visit to New York City in Elf. And ogle the vibrant window displays at Bloomingdales, Lord & Taylor, and the same Macy's you might remember from Miracle on 31st Street.
Tours depart from The Stops at Columbus Circle (Time Warner Building). Your tour guide will wait on the 2nd floor near the H&M, facing the main entrance windows overlooking the Visitor's Desk on the left side.
You should check-in at the Visitor's Desk on the main floor (directly in front of William's Sonoma) before your tour starts, which can be done as early as 16:00. Once checked in you will receive a VIP shopping pass with exclusive deals and offers for the Shops at Columbus Circle.
