OLT - Central Park TV & Movie Tour | What You'll See:
The tour begins in front of the NR subway station on 59th Street between 5th Avenue & 6th Avenue. Here you will meet your tour guide who will proceed to walk you and your group around 40 locations in total. The locations are vast and varied, including Bow Bridge, Wollman Rink, Gapstow Bridge, The Dairy, Sheep’s Meadow and Cherry Hill; all the while taking in the skyline of Upper West Side.
Stroll through the Promenade, famous as a spot of socialization and relaxation, and also featured in the likes of Serendipity, Vanilla Sky, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and Big Daddy. Skirt the banks of Central Park's 22-acre lake, chosen as the location for scenes in the Manchurian Candidate. You can come back to this location at the end of the tour and enjoy a bite to eat in the Boathouse Restaurant.
Stand in the bandshell before moving onto the Strawberry Fields, featured in the movie Little Manhattan and currently dedicated to John Lennon in 1985 after his assassination in 1980.
On the final leg of the tour, which ends at 66th St & Central Park West, visit the Tavern on the Green restaurant and Columbus Circle, where Taxi Driver, Keeping the Faith, Ghostbusters, Borat, Enchanted and Crocodile Dundee were shot.
