About The Central Park TV & Movie Sites Tour:
The Central Park TV & Movie Sites walking tour is a fun and leisurely journey that takes in all the natural and man-made beauty of Manhattan's leafy centrepiece and adds a twist from the world of film and television.
Led by local actors and actresses you will explore over 30 shooting locations that featured in such TV shows and movies as Taxi Driver, Glee!, Home Alone 2, Independence Day, Vanilla Sky and Kramer vs. Kramer.

- NR subway station on 59th Street between 5th Avenue & 6th Avenue.

The tour begins in front of the NR subway station on 59th Street between 5th Avenue & 6th Avenue. Here you will meet your tour guide who will proceed to walk you and your group around 40 locations in total. The locations are vast and varied, including Bow Bridge, Wollman Rink, Gapstow Bridge, The Dairy, Sheep’s Meadow and Cherry Hill; all the while taking in the skyline of Upper West Side.
Stroll through the Promenade, famous as a spot of socialization and relaxation, and also featured in the likes of Serendipity, Vanilla Sky, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and Big Daddy. Skirt the banks of Central Park's 22-acre lake, chosen as the location for scenes in the Manchurian Candidate. You can come back to this location at the end of the tour and enjoy a bite to eat in the Boathouse Restaurant.
Stand in the bandshell before moving onto Strawberry Fields, featured in the movie Little Manhattan and currently dedicated to John Lennon following his assassination in 1980.
The tour ends at 67th and Central Park West at Tavern on the Green restaurant where Ghostbusters and Mr. Poppers Penguins were shot. On this tour you'll see locations from Enchanted, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Modern Family, Gossip Girl, The Smurfs, Glee, The Avengers, Doctor Who and so much more.
