About The Powerhouse Museum:
The Powerhouse Museum is a vast and eclectic institution filled with around 500,000 technological artefacts. Experience a variety of subjects from science and transportation to media and the arts. The displays offer insight into humanity's ever evolving need to innovate and create by displaying the products and tools of this progress across a series of themed exhibitions. See the world's oldest operational rotative steam engine and marvel at a working replica of Strasbourg Cathedral's astronomical clock.

Impaired Mobility | All main levels of the Powerhouse Museum are accessible to wheelchair users and visitors with other mobility impairments. Wheelchairs can be borrowed free of charge from the cloakroom desk in the entry foyer. All the toilets are equipped for disabled access.
Storage | A cloakroom is available for the storage of briefcases, bags, backpacks and other containers larger than 35cm x 35cm x 15cm. You must also store any: tripods, aerosols, bulky printed media (posters, etc), umbrellas and balloons. Bags of any kind may be inspected upon entry.
Toilets | Toilets are located in the courtyard and on all levels.
MAAS Store | Books, gifts and other souvenirs are available for purchase in the MAAS Store. Entry tickets are not required to access the shop, and sales profits contribute to the expansion of the museum collection. It's open daily (except Christmas Day) from 10:00 to 16:30.
The MAAS Café | Level 3 - Open 07:30 to 17:00 (weekdays) and 08:00 to 17:00 (weekends).
The Junction Café | Level 1 - Open 07:30 to 14:30 (weekdays) and 08:00 to 15:00 (weekends).
