The Frozen Planet: Based on the award-winning BBC nature documentary series of the same name, Frozen Planet allows visitors to step into the glacial world of the Arctic. Using a state-of-the-art augmented reality system you will be brought within touching distance of polar bears and orca whales. The technology includes a fully narrated walk through audio guide, and the immersion experience even extends as far as scent and sound.
Shark Walk: Discover the mighty predators of the Pacific by walking onto Sea Life London's giant glass viewing window. If having a Tiger Shark swim just inches beneath your feat isn't exhilarating enough then why not try the VIP Shark Feeding Experience*? They are fed at 14:30 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
*Purchasable at an extra cost on-site.
Tidal Reach: In Tidal Reach you'll encounter jellyfish, pipefish and the beautifully coloured Gurnard. Explore the various pools and learn interesting facts about the resident creatures.
Dive Discovery: Set around the replicated bones of a grey whale, this exhibition houses creatures such as bluestripe snapper, triggerfish and cownose rays. Learn about the micro-habitats of these fascinating creatures as well as about the fish themselves.
Ocean Tunnel: The aquarium's signature attraction, here you'll venture beneath the waves for close encounters with giant Green Sea Turtles, shoals of tropical fish and the world's smallest species of Hammerhead Shark.
Nemo’s Kingdom: Explore a living, functioning coral reef right in the heart of London. Coral reefs cover a minimal of 1% of the ocean, yet host the largest relative number of sea creatures, which is over 25% of earth's ocean biodiversity. With this in mind you're guaranteed to witness a menagerie of different colours, shapes and personalities.
Rainforests Of The World: Step out of the ocean and into a humid arboreal landscape. The Rainforests exhibition is home to Cuban crocodiles and blind cave fish.
Penguin Point: As the name suggests, this space is inhabited by playful penguins and the cold temperatures to which they're accustomed. Currently its resident Gentoo colony (provided by Edinburgh Zoo) are the stars of the show. Their feeding times are at 12:00 and 15:00.
Shark Reef Encounter: Enter a zone filled with sandy dunes and tropical palm trees. The surrounding tanks offer visitors a safe vantage point from which to view the ocean's majestic apex predator.
