Perched on the edge of Port Jackson at Bennelong Point, the Opera House was designed by the Danish architect Jørn Utzon in 1957. When the Opera House became a World Heritage site in 2007 it was hailed as: "one of the indisputable masterpieces of human creativity, not only in the 20th century but in the history of humankind".
In the company of a knowledgeable guide, explore the Concert Hall, Drama Theatre, Playhouse and Joan Sutherland Theatre. Run your hand over the famous shell tiles and take a seat in the custom made Tasmanian Oak chairs, plus marvel at the vaulted ceilings of one of the biggest pillar-free chambers in the world. Throughout the tour you'll have the opportunity to snap photos from rare vantage which are normally off-limits to the general public.
